Government Programs
Emergency Energy Fund (EEF)
Qualifying Toronto residents may be eligible for help from the City of Toronto with energy-related emergencies to reconnect, prevent disconnection or to assist in the payment of energy arrears for hydro, gas or oil services. Eligible customers must have received a disconnection notice or have already been disconnected, or they must have energy arrears and not enough money to pay them.
Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP)
OESP provides a monthly bill credit to eligible customers. The credit amount depends on:
